The Low Impact Design Studio has successfully completed a wide range of stormwater management projects by federal, state, local, and private funders, particularly dealing with on-site stormwater practices such as bioretention cells, swales, rain gardens, stormwater planters, water harvesting and reuse, living walls, and step pools. The LID Studio has worked successfully with watershed and community groups, architects, engineers, contractors, and with various local governments towards the implementation of practices which improve water quality. Additionally, the LID Studio possesses technical expertise, architectural landscape design skills, construction expertise, knowledge of plant material, green building, environmental issues, etc. which will be applicable for the technical assistance and training in order to successfully meet restoration goals.
